It's been on the cards for a very long time and we're so busy with client work and own projects like Compare Parts we neglected our own main site. Well that, and the fact I am a bit of a perfectionist and that I couldn't make my mind up about the site design. I'm my own worst client.
We've gone with a more RGB look + feel, incorporating eye-pleasing gradients and a much more colourful look and feel. We've dropped a lot of the images and videos on the site to improve performance and utilised CSS and SVG's extensively. We've also dropped the Animal theme on our old site, with the exception of Toby the lion, we couldn't get rid of him, so included a fractal lion video on the homepage.
We've updated our service offering on Bravr to reflect what we really specialise in, We've dropped Organic Social Media, Digital Content and mobile app development. With the abundance of digital marketing agencies trying to sell everything including their mother-in-law, we took a different approach and want to focus on our core services which are SEO, Paid and Website development. This makes up the lion-share of our client work and it's where we really perform vs the "jack of all trade" approach taken by many.
It's a start, but we wanted to share our knowledge on SEO with our clients and anyone that's interested. With 20+ years experience in the field we could write a book on SEO, but we decided to share our knowledge in a way that's easy to digest. We'll be adding more to the academy.
We've been asked to provide training, not only in SEO but in wider analytics and reporting. So we've added this as a new service in a one-to-one capacity or in a classroom style format. To date this has been more of a one-off, however we've been increasingly asked to provide one-to-one training for clients.
